The “Rubble” series evokes the trap of overproduction and overconsumption that we have set for ourselves and its inevitable self-destructive consequences.
It depicts accumulations of waste evoking landscapes in ruins, as if the war had passed through there. The plastic bottles associated with the skulls look like so many bullet casings that we have fired at ourselves.
